In short
This site and the app are for learning — about welding and materials. No sign-up, no account, no payment. We don't collect any personal data from you.
What happens technically when you use the site?
No sign-up, no account: we don't ask for names, addresses, or any other personal details. The site runs on Cloudflare — when you access it, usual technical log data is generated there (e.g., your IP address). The content is hosted on Supabase; to deliver it to you, your IP address is technically transmitted there. The app fetches the content to your device via a randomly generated device key (available offline), which is not linked to your person.
Cookies and local storage
We don't use tracking or advertising cookies. There are no analytics tools and no ad networks. Only technically necessary data is stored in your browser (e.g., your watchlist) so the site works as you use it.
What's our legal basis?
Legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR — we run this service, and you have an interest in using it safely and functioning.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, delete, and restrict processing of your data at any time, as well as data portability. You can complain to a data protection supervisory authority. Since we don't maintain accounts or profiles, data processing stays deliberately minimal.
