Activated carbon absorption filter for welding fumes

A filtration auxiliary in extraction systems that binds hazardous gases and organic vapors from welding fumes through adsorption. It effectively protects the respiratory tract of welding personnel.

Activated carbon filters bind pollutants and odors from the air via their huge internal surface area. When you use extraction systems with activated carbon while welding, it's mainly about pulling toxic gases and vapors out of the smoke – the coarse dust is separated beforehand via other filter stages. Make sure to replace the activated carbon filter regularly. If it's full or expired, it won't absorb anything anymore and pollutants go unfiltered into the room air. A full filter often smells clearly or you no longer feel the extraction performance. Stick to the manufacturer's maintenance intervals and replace the filter in time, otherwise the whole extraction system won't do anything for your health.
