Aluminum-Manganese Wrought Material

A non-heat-treatable aluminum material with finely dispersed Mn precipitates that combines high formability with moderate strength.

Aluminum-manganese is a highly formable material. When welding, you need to be careful not to put too much heat in, otherwise you'll warp the part. The alloy tends to crack if you treat it wrong. Clean work and the right filler metal choice are key; then you'll get a decent weld.
