Respirator Mask with Particulate Filter Class P3
A respirator with P3 particle filter class reliably filters even health-damaging fine dusts and fumes from stainless steel or galvanized welding. It offers the highest protection level for filter masks.
Physicochemical Mechanism of Action
The P3 particle filter class is designed to filter at least 99.97% of all particles with a size of 0.3 micrometers and above. This protects the respiratory tract from fine dusts and smoke particles released during welding.
Metallurgical Relevance & Risks in Welding
Stainless steel or galvanized steels produce especially many fine dust and smoke particles. Without adequate respiratory protection, these particles can cause lung damage, leading to chronic health problems. The P3 mask prevents inhalation of these hazardous particles and thus protects the welder's health.
Workshop Practice & Instructions for Use
Always use a respirator with P3 particle filter class when welding stainless steel or galvanized materials. Ensure the mask fits well and has no gaps. Put it on before starting to weld and remove it only after finishing the work. If necessary, perform daily cleaning and maintenance of the mask.
