Automated Torch Cleaning Module
The automatic torch cleaning module regularly removes spatter from the gas nozzle using cutters and anti-spatter agents, ensuring a consistent shielding gas flow and preventing uncontrolled oxidation.
Physicochemical Mechanism of Action
The module uses mechanical cutters that run over the gas nozzle periodically. They remove spatter and other buildup that occur during welding. Anti-spatter agents prevent metal from sticking to the cutters and causing damage.
Metallurgical Relevance & Welding Risks
Without regular cleaning, the gas nozzle can be blocked by spatter, leading to irregular or absent shielding gas flow. This increases the risk of oxidation and can cause quality issues in the weld seam. A defective module can also impair torch efficiency, further degrading weld quality.
Workshop Practice & Action Instructions
Activate the module regularly (at least every 4 hours). Ensure cutters are clean and sharp. Check anti-spatter agent levels periodically and refill as needed. If signs of blockage or irregular gas flow appear, perform manual cleaning.
