Dynamic Weaving Path Programming
Dynamic pendulum path programming optimizes the welding motion through fast, sinusoidal oscillation. This improves sidewall fusion and prevents porosity in thick plates.
Physical-Chemical Mechanism of Action
The programming leads to a fast, sinusoidal movement of the welding torch. This oscillation improves the contact area between the torch and the workpiece surface, which improves sidewall fusion and reduces porosity.
Metallurgical Relevance & Welding Risks
In thick plates or wide joints, poor sidewall fusion can lead to porosity. Dynamic pendulum path programming prevents this by improving contact area and simultaneously better penetrating the material.
Workshop Practice & Instructions
Use a frequency of 100 Hz and an amplitude of 0.5 mm. Make sure the welding torch has a smooth surface to optimally use the oscillation. Monitor the sidewall fusion and adjust the parameters if necessary.
