Electrode Drying Oven

Heat treatment facility for reducing the moisture content in the coating embedding of stick electrodes prior to welding.

The drying oven removes moisture from the electrode coating. If you weld with wet electrodes, you get porosity in the weld and it can lead to cracks. So you put the electrodes in for a certain time at the right temperature until they are nice and dry. After that, you can process them normally.
