Electrode holding oven
A portable, heated container that keeps stick electrodes dry while on the job site.
Basic electrodes absorb moisture from the air. The climate box keeps them dry as long as you use it properly. Moist coating causes hydrogen in the weld metal, leading to cold cracks, especially in high-strength steel. Only take out as many electrodes as you need immediately, and don't leave the box open. If a pack does get damp, only the drying oven helps – the climate box can't do that.
