Ergonomic welder protective gaiter

Ergonomic welding gaiters protect the foot and shin from glowing weld spatter and thermal injuries by preventing heat from penetrating into the footwear.

Physical-chemical mechanism of action

The welding gaiter is made of a highly absorbent material that absorbs glowing weld spatter on the surface and extracts its heat. The material prevents heat from being transferred directly to the footwear.

Metallurgical relevance & risks during welding

Without a protective gaiter, severe burns to the foot and shins can occur. Glowing spatter can damage the footwear and harm the skin, leading to discomfort and potential infection.

Workshop practice & instructions

Always wear ergonomic welding gaiters when welding near your feet or legs. Make sure the material is clean and dry for optimal protection.
