Fine-Beam Electron Beam Welding
A variant of electron beam welding featuring extremely small focusing for microelectronic or precision mechanical components. It minimizes thermal stress on temperature-sensitive components.
Fine-focus electron beam welding is a precision process for thin sheets or small components. The focused beam produces a very narrow weld seam with minimal heat input into the surrounding material. This keeps distortion low and allows you to join temperature-sensitive materials. Make sure the beam is cleanly focused on the seam and the welding speed matches the material. If the focus is off or the speed is too high, you won't get proper penetration. The seam should be uniform and smooth, without pores or undercut.
