Physicochemical Mechanism of Action

The validity period of a welder qualification is a time frame during which the welder's competence and knowledge are recognized as valid. There are no specific physical or chemical processes involved.

Metallurgical Relevance & Welding Risks

An expired qualification can lead to safety risks because the welder may not be up to date with the latest methods and standards. This can result in insufficient quality of welding work and potential cracks or failure of components.
