Hot Isostatic Pressing Diffusion Bonding
A joining process under omnidirectional gas pressure and high temperature in a pressure vessel, compacting and bonding complex geometries pore-free.
Diffusion welding is a process where you join two clean, smooth metal surfaces under pressure and heat in a vacuum or under shielding gas. Since the parts do not melt, the material properties are largely preserved. The bond is formed by the diffusion of atoms across the interface. Pay meticulous attention to clean and flat surfaces, otherwise you won't get a tight joint. Pressure and temperature must match the material and be kept constant over a longer period so that the joint zone is completely welded.
