High-alloy austenitic welding wire

A solid filler material for corrosion-resistant steels that stabilizes the microstructure against intergranular corrosion.

High-alloy austenitic welding wire is intended for corrosion-resistant joints. The addition of alloying elements such as nickel and molybdenum ensures that the structure remains stable and the weld does not rust quickly or become susceptible to stress cracking. When processing the wire, make sure that the interpass temperature does not rise too high, otherwise the structure will transform and the weld will become brittle. For everyday workshop practice, this means: work cleanly, choose the right wire type for the base material, and do not introduce too much heat into the component.
