High-temperature welding flux

A specially formulated flux for submerged arc welding of high-strength hot-work tool steels that retains its chemical stability at elevated operating temperatures. It prevents porosity under intense thermal stress.

High-temperature welding flux stays stable at high temperatures and prevents oxygen from getting into the melt. If the temperature isn't right, the flux won't bind properly and you'll get porosity. Make sure the flux is dry and dose it cleanly as specified. Too much or too little will also cause problems in the weld pool.
