Pulsed Arc Peak Current
The maximum current during the pulse phase that causes the controlled detachment of exactly one droplet per pulse. Exact limitation prevents uncontrolled spatter formation.
Peak pulse current is the short-term current peak in the pulsed arc that controls the droplet transfer of material. If set too high, it spatters heavily and you risk pores and an unclean weld seam. If too low, droplet transfer stalls and the seam won't be properly penetrated. Set the value so the arc burns steadily and material transfers evenly – reference values are in your machine's parameter table or in the manufacturer's data for the filler material.
