Pulsed Arc Process
A modified arc welding method where the current periodically switches between a low background current and a high pulse current. This enables droplet transfer in the short-circuit range without uncontrolled spatter formation.
In pulsed arc welding, you switch between a low background current and a high pulse current. This makes the material transfer in a controlled way and reduces spatter, which keeps the weld cleaner and lowers the risk of lack of fusion. If you don't match the frequency and current levels properly, the arc becomes unstable and you'll burn through the material or get a messy weld. So always set the parameters to suit the base material and filler material.
