Interactive Teach-In

Interactive teach-in is a method where the operator manually guides a robot arm to input weld points and create the path.

Physicochemical Mechanism of Action

The operator manually moves the robot arm to the desired position and inputs a weld point. Repeat this to build the whole path.

Metallurgical Relevance & Welding Risks

Wrong inputs or sloppy guiding can make the path inaccurate, leading to poor weld quality. That can cause cracks, distortion, or missed welds.

Workshop Practice & Action Steps

1. Make sure the robot arm is properly calibrated and the toolholder is tight.

2. Start teach-in mode on the robot controller.

3. Move the arm manually to the first weld position and enter a point.

4. Repeat for all necessary weld points to build the full path.

5. After finishing teach-in, check the points for correctness and completeness.
