Collaborative Welding Robot Interface

The collaborative welding robot interface allows the worker to safely guide the welding arm directly during the teach-in process. This significantly reduces programming effort for complex geometries.

Physical-Chemical Mechanism

The interface enables direct communication between the worker and the welding robot. The robot can be guided directly by the worker's hand during the teach-in process, precisely recording the required movements and positions.

Metallurgical Relevance & Welding Risks

Direct guidance by the worker minimizes errors in the programming process and increases weld precision. However, there is a potential risk of accidents if communication is not safe and clear. Therefore, clear definition of work areas and safety protocols is essential.

Workshop Practice & Actions

To effectively use the collaborative welding robot interface, the following steps should be considered:

1. Safety Preparation: Ensure all safety measures are followed and the robot is correctly calibrated.

2. Teach-In Process: Have the worker perform the required movements of the welding arm and document them precisely.

3. Review and Optimization: Review the recorded program for accuracy and optimize it as needed for higher efficiency.
