Certificate of Conformity

A declaration of conformity is an official confirmation that a welded product meets all statutory and regulatory safety requirements. It is required to place technical assemblies on the market.

Physicochemical Mechanism of Action

The declaration of conformity is not directly related to physical or chemical processes but rather to ensuring compliance with standards and laws in the manufacturing process chain.

Metallurgical Relevance & Welding Risks

A missing declaration of conformity can cause legal issues because the product may not be authorized. This leads to delays in market introduction and increased costs due to rework or retesting.

Shop Practice & Action Instructions

To ensure a product meets the declaration of conformity, all welding processes must be strictly carried out according to the specified standards. This includes using the correct materials, temperature control, and adhering to all relevant standards (e.g., EN, ISO). If there are questions about conformity, always contact the manufacturer or an independent certification body.
