Convection Furnace Technology
Heat transfer within the furnace chamber through forced gas circulation to ensure maximum temperature uniformity at low to medium treatment temperatures.
Convection ovens distribute heat through air movement in the oven chamber. This ensures that the workpiece is heated evenly from all sides and no hot or cold spots form. If you introduce heat unevenly, you build up stresses in the material that can later lead to cracks during welding or cooling. Make sure that the air in the oven can circulate well and nothing blocks the gas flow. Place the workpiece so that the warm air reaches everywhere. Then you have a stable temperature and the weld will be cleaner.
