Copper-Base Welding Consumable

A consumable made of copper-tin or copper-aluminum alloys for fusion welding or surfacing on copper materials. It utilizes the bronze-welding effect for minimal thermal influence.

Copper-based filler wire is basically a soldering material that melts at low temperature and joins parts without heating the base material too much. That's ideal for joining copper parts because you avoid the material softening or unwanted reactions. It's important that the parts are clean and you use the flux correctly, otherwise the joint won't hold. If you put too much heat in, you risk the connection not holding properly or the material suffering.
