Copper-Silver Soft Annealing Temperature
Temperature level at which strain-hardened copper-silver material recrystallizes, with minor silver additions increasing the recrystallization temperature compared to pure copper.
Copper-silver alloys soften quickly during welding if you put too much heat in. The structure then coarsens, the material loses strength and can crack. So keep the heat input as low as possible and weld quickly. If you want to harden the alloy again after welding, only targeted cold working or a suitable heat treatment helps – but you need to know exactly what you're doing.
