Copper-Tin Cast Bronze Pressure Tightness

Property of tin bronze architectures to form pressure-tight castings without microporosity for valves through a narrow solidification range and targeted alloy selection.

Copper-tin cast bronze becomes dense if you set the alloy so it solidifies tightly. This way you get no porous structure and the part stays tight. When welding, you must be careful not to overheat or mishandle the alloy, otherwise the structure can crack or leak. So use a suitable alloy and control the temperature during casting precisely, then the part will be tight and stable.
