Laser Diffusion Welding

Precise joining through localized heating of interfaces using laser radiation under pressure, connecting optical or fine metallic components.

In laser diffusion welding, you heat the joint zones specifically with the laser beam while the parts are under pressure. This causes the materials to diffuse into each other and form a clean, precise connection – ideal for sensitive components. Adjust the contact pressure to the material: too little pressure gives no durable seam, too much pressure deforms the workpiece. The parts must be absolutely clean and stably clamped, otherwise the connection will be nothing. Set process parameters such as laser power and feed rate depending on material and wall thickness – there is no universal recipe, you have to test it on the part.
