Vacuum Box Leak Testing

A non-destructive leak testing method where a test surface is wetted with a foaming agent and subjected to negative pressure using a transparent vacuum chamber to make leaks visible through bubble formation. It is primarily applied to vessels and floor welds.

The test area must be clean and dry, then apply the foam agent evenly. After that, place the vacuum chamber on and draw the vacuum. Where the foam agent starts to bubble, you have a leak. The bubbles show you the leak directly.
