Excess Solder Control

Brazing filler excess control monitors the amount of brazing filler metal to prevent dripping and short circuits. It ensures a clean joint and improves reliability.

Physical-Chemical Mechanism of Action

Solder projection control monitors the amount of solder to ensure that no dripping or short circuits occur. This is achieved by continuously monitoring the solder amount and the surface.

Metallurgical Relevance & Welding Risks

If solder projection control is insufficient, dripping and short circuits can occur, leading to electrical issues and assembly failure. This can result in safety hazards and increased repair costs.

Workshop Practice & Instructions

To effectively carry out solder projection control, the following steps must be taken:

1. Use a high-resolution camera to monitor the solder amount.

2. Set a fixed solder level and check it regularly for accuracy.

3. Keep the surface clean and free of dust and dirt to ensure an optimal connection.
