Multi-Robot Synchronization

Multi-robot synchronization is the coordinated movement of several robots in a welding station to avoid collisions and increase efficiency.

Physicochemical Mechanism of Action

Synchronizing multiple robots requires precise timing of their movements. This is achieved by a central control system that monitors and regulates the positions and speeds of the robots.

Metallurgical Relevance & Welding Risks

Lack of synchronization can lead to collisions, resulting in damaged workpieces or even shutdown of the entire system. This increases production times and the error rate.

Shop Practice & Action Instructions

To ensure successful synchronization, the robots must be calibrated regularly. Keep the maximum speed of the robots below their technical limits to avoid collisions. The control system must be constantly monitored and updated as needed.
