Nickel-Base Welding Consumable

A high-alloy nickel-based consumable used for joining heat-resistant steels and dissimilar materials. It provides an exact match to the thermal expansion coefficients of the base material.

Use nickel-based fillers when joining dissimilar materials or when the base material is hard to weld, e.g., due to high carbon content. The alloy is compatible with many steels and compensates for different thermal expansions. It's important to prepare the material cleanly and control the heat – too much heat causes hot cracking, too little and you get no fusion. Let it cool slowly after welding, then the weld will hold clean.
