Nickel-Chromium-Iron Alloy

Nickel-chromium-iron alloy is a high-strength, heat-resistant steel alloy with high corrosion and scaling resistance. It is often used in heavily loaded machine parts.

Nickel-chromium-iron alloys are tough and corrosion-resistant, but when welding you have to be careful not to put too much heat in. Otherwise the grain grows and the material becomes brittle. Best to weld it with TIG and control the heat input. Definitely use a filler material that matches the base material in composition, otherwise you won't get a clean, tight weld.
