Nickel-Copper Alloy

Nickel-copper alloy is a metal alloy of nickel and copper that has excellent corrosion resistance and thermal conductivity. It is often used in electrolytic and electronics applications.

For nickel-copper alloys, it's best to weld with a matching filler material that suits the base alloy. The parts must be clean and free of grease, otherwise you'll get porosity in the weld. Watch the heat input so the structure doesn't overheat or precipitate too much copper. Let it cool slowly after welding to keep the corrosion resistance.
