Nickel-Molybdenum Alloy

Nickel-molybdenum alloys are high-strength and tough, ideal for high temperatures and chemical exposure. They contain 10-25% nickel and 3-8% molybdenum.

Nickel-molybdenum alloys are tough and can easily withstand aggressive media. When welding, you have to be careful that the part doesn't cool too quickly, otherwise the structure becomes susceptible to cracking. Controlled cooling is the be-all and end-all so that the material retains its good properties. Use clean filler material and keep the heat input within limits, then it'll be fine.
