Nickel-Base Filler Metal
A highly alloyed welding consumable for joining dissimilar steels, heat-resistant, or corrosion-resistant nickel alloys. It exhibits precise resistance against intergranular corrosion.
Use nickel-based filler materials when you want to join different steels or nickel alloys. They give a tough, corrosion-resistant weld and prevent intergranular corrosion from forming later. Pay attention to correct selection and clean preparation, otherwise you'll build up unnecessary stress and risk cracks. The melt is quite fluid, so control the heat input well, then it'll be fine.
