Orbital GMAW Welding

Orbital welding with GMAW is basically normal GMAW welding, except that the torch is guided mechanically around the pipe or circumferential seam. The advantage is that you get a uniform weld without having to change your hand guidance. You just have to make sure that the wire feed speed and torch position are correct, otherwise the weld will be irregular. If the shielding gas doesn't cover properly, you'll get porosity, so check the gas flow. Otherwise, set it calmly and evenly, then it'll run fine.
