Plasma Powder Transferred Arc Welding

A weld overlay process where metallic powder is melted onto the workpiece surface using an ionized plasma jet. It serves for targeted wear and corrosion protection of components.

Plasma powder surfacing is a process where a plasma jet melts the powder and deposits it as a layer on the workpiece. This gives you a dense, hard surface that offers good protection against wear and corrosion. If you don't set the parameters properly, the layer can become uneven or cracks can form. Make sure the workpiece is clean and free of grease, and adjust the powder feed and plasma gas flow according to the manufacturer's specifications. Then it'll run clean.
