Plasma Current Density
The electrical current per unit cross-sectional area in plasma welding, generating extremely high energy densities through a constricted nozzle.
The plasma current density depends on the welding current and the nozzle geometry. If you set it too high, the pool gets too hot, the material can overheat and deform, causing pores or cracks. Adjust it so the arc is stable and the pool flows calmly. Always watch how the plasma acts and how the material reacts, then the quality will be right.
