Spot Extraction Articulated Arm

A flexible duct system for point extraction of emissions above the joining process. It ensures effective air relief and improves the working environment.

Physicochemical Mechanism of Action

The fume extraction arm consists of a duct system with a specific orientation, positioned directly over the thermal joining process. It precisely captures emissions like welding fumes and fire extinguisher agent, removing them at the point of origin.

Metallurgical Relevance & Welding Risks

Effective emission extraction is critical for air quality in the shop. Without point extraction, the room can become overloaded, causing health issues. Additionally, unremoved emissions can affect the weld microstructure and reduce strength.

Workshop Practice & Action Guidelines

Position the fume extraction arm so it sits directly over the joining process. Make sure it doesn't interfere with the welding arc and that it effectively extracts emissions. Use the designated connection points and ensure proper mounting. If needed, the duct system can be easily adjusted to fit different joint positions.
