Pyrometric Weld Pool Monitoring

Non-contact temperature measurement of the weld pool area during welding to monitor heat input. It supports the prevention of overheating and microstructural damage.

Pyrometric monitoring measures the temperature in the weld pool without contact via thermal radiation. This lets you keep an eye on the heat input and avoid overheating, which damages the structure and causes cracks. Adjust the heat source directly if values deviate, and keep the temperature within the window suitable for the material. That saves you from distortion and cracked seams later.
