Redrying Oven

A thermal unit for targeted dehumidification of basic coated electrodes to eliminate residual moisture and thereby hydrogen cracking risks.

Drying is important when you have electrodes or parts that have absorbed moisture. You dry them again in the oven at a certain temperature for a certain time. You do this so that no hydrogen gets into the weld metal during welding – otherwise it causes pores and cracks. Especially with high-strength steels or certain electrodes, this is a must, otherwise you'll have trouble with the weld later.
