Shielding Gas Tester

A measuring instrument for determining the gas composition and dew point directly at the welding torch nozzle.

Check the shielding gas directly at the torch with this. It measures oxygen and CO2 content as well as dew point. If there's too much moisture or air in it, you'll get pores in the weld and the part won't hold properly. Best to check the gas before each welding day or for critical jobs. If the device shows something off, the gas cylinder or hose is wrong, then readjust the supply and measure again.
