Protective Gloves for Thermal Cutting and Joining Processes

Robust, heat- and abrasion-resistant hand protection made of cowhide or goat grain leather with heat-resistant seams. They protect hands from burns, radiant heat, and mechanical injuries.

Welding gloves are made of thick leather that protects you against heat, sparks, and sharp edges. The seams must be heat-resistant so they don't come apart during welding. Without them, you'll quickly burn your hands when touching hot material or working near the flame. Always use gloves made for welding – they're long enough so nothing runs into your sleeve. Make sure the leather isn't cracked or worn through. If the seams start to crumble or the leather becomes stiff and porous, those things belong in the trash.
