Polycarbonate Welding Helmet Cover Lens

A transparent, mechanically strong protective shield made of polycarbonate that protects visibility during welding and is easily replaceable when worn.

Physical-Chemical Mechanism of Action

The polycarbonate face shield for welding helmets is made of a high-molecular plastic that withstands temperature changes and mechanical stress excellently. It is transparent and prevents ingress of moisture or dust.

Metallurgical Relevance & Risks in Welding

The robust shield protects the optical filter from damage by spatter and mechanical impact. When worn, it can be economically replaced without changing the entire helmet.

Workshop Practice & Instructions

Check the shield regularly for damage. If worn or damaged, replace it immediately. The new shield should be carefully installed and firmly mounted to ensure optimal protection.
