Anti-spatter welding compound

Anti-spatter paste prevents weld spatter from sticking to workpieces and torch nozzles, simplifies post-weld cleanup, and protects wear parts.

Physical-Chemical Mechanism of Action

Anti-spatter paste contains chemical binding agents that prevent spatter from sticking. These agents react with metal compounds and form a protective layer that prevents burning.

Metallurgical Relevance & Risks in Welding

Without anti-spatter paste, spatter can cause severe cracks and wear on workpieces and the torch. This can significantly affect product quality and shorten the life of the welding equipment.

Workshop Practice & Instructions

Apply anti-spatter paste to all relevant surfaces before welding. Use a thickness of about 0.5 to 1 mm. Make sure to remove the paste completely after post-weld cleaning to avoid contaminating the metal.
