Weld seam pickling paste

An acid-based chemical auxiliary for removing oxide tints and chromium-depleted zones on stainless steels post-welding.

Pickling eats away the heat tint and the depleted edge zone that form during welding. You apply it, let it work briefly, then rinse thoroughly with water. Make sure you don't leave it on too long, or it will attack the base material. After rinsing, the surface must be clean and dry before you continue welding.
