Welding Station Acoustic Protection Booth

A welding noise protection booth reduces noise and light emissions, protects the surroundings, and improves the working environment.

Physico-chemical mode of action

The soundproof booth absorbs or blocks sound waves and light radiation by using sufficiently dense materials. This prevents noise and radiation from escaping into the environment.

Metallurgical relevance & risks in welding

Reducing noise emissions improves the working environment and protects workers' health. Optical emissions, e.g. radiation during laser welding, are minimized, which lowers the risk of eye damage.

Workshop practice & instructions

Install the soundproof booth so it surrounds the entire welding area and forms a tight protective barrier. Make sure all doors and windows are properly sealed. Use materials with high sound absorption, like acoustic foam or rubber mounts.
