Welding Flux Recovery System

A machine for extracting, cleaning, and reprocessing unused welding flux in submerged arc welding. It separates slag particles and maintains a stable grain size distribution.

Physical-Chemical Mechanism

The flux recycling unit picks up unused flux, removes slag particles, and reacts with cleaning agents. This stops buildup and keeps a consistent grain size distribution.

Metallurgical Relevance & Welding Risks

Without recycling, the flux can get contaminated, causing uneven weld strength and possible cracks. A stable grain size distribution improves the toughness and mechanical properties of the weld.

Workshop Practice & Procedures

Check and clean the unit regularly. Adjust the flux amount and cleaning agent based on the metal you're using. A properly working recycling unit keeps quality high and makes the flux last longer.
