Welding Production Control

Supervision of all welding-related operations in the workshop to ensure the consistent fulfillment of contractual quality requirements.

When welding, you have to keep an eye on the weld pool. If you don't control the heat input and filler materials properly, you'll get porosity or cracks in the structure because the metal doesn't fuse cleanly or stresses build up. Make sure the melt runs calm and even and doesn't overheat. You check temperature and composition with the measuring devices, but more important is that you have the arc and speed under control. Don't let the part cool too quickly after welding, otherwise the material becomes hard and brittle.
