Quality Requirement for Welding

A comprehensive regulatory system according to ISO 3834 that defines all quality-assuring measures for welding manufacturing from design to delivery.

A welding quality requirement specifies what a weld must meet – e.g., strength, tightness, allowable irregularities, and inspection scope. It is usually stated in the drawing, standard, or welding procedure specification. When welding, you follow it: preparation, parameters, and rework must be such that the required quality is reliably achieved in the end.
