Welding Cell Safety Controller

A protective system that monitors automated equipment and shields the operator from radiation and mechanical hazards.

Physicochemical mechanism of action

The welding cell safety control monitors safety doors, light curtains, and emergency stop circuits. It activates when doors are open or unauthorized access occurs and stops the system.

Metallurgical relevance & risks during welding

Without safety control, there is a risk of the operator entering a hot welding cell and being injured. Mechanical hazards such as impacts or injuries from moving parts are avoided.

Workshop practice & action instructions

Make sure all doors are correctly closed and light curtains are activated. Regularly check the functionality of the safety control. If error codes are reported, inspect the system and repair defective sensors or actuators.
