Flame-Retardant Welder Apron

Flame-resistant welding apron made of heat-resistant material, protecting the torso from direct sparks and spatter.

Physicochemical Mechanism of Action

The welding apron consists of a material that does not burn or only burns slowly at high temperatures. This material has high temperature resistance and can withstand the strong heat radiation during welding.

Metallurgical Relevance & Welding Risks

Without a flame-retardant apron, there is a risk that sparks or spatter will hit the body directly and cause burns. This can lead to serious injuries. A protective apron prevents these risks and ensures a safe working environment.

Workshop Practice & Action Instructions

Use a welding apron made of flame-retardant material for every welding job. Make sure the apron fits well and all openings are closed. For particularly high temperatures or when working with high-energy welding processes, choose an apron with an even higher safety rating.
