Self-Fluxing Silver Brazing Alloy
A phosphorus-alloyed brazing filler metal that replaces external flux through inherent chemical action when joining copper to copper.
Self-fluxing silver solder contains phosphorus, which acts as a flux when brazing copper. So you don't need to apply extra flux, saving you work. But be careful: this stuff is only for copper and copper alloys. Forget it on steel or other metals; the phosphorus will only cause trouble and make the joint brittle. If you're brazing copper pipes or sheets, feel free to use it, but keep the parts clean and watch out not to overheat.
